Boost Fiber Strength and Durability — With Low Carboxyl PET Chips for Tires, Airbags, and Medical Textiles
Engineered for durability – low end-group reactivity ensures superior resistance to heat, moisture, and aging
Product Description
Low carboxyl polyester chips are high-performance materials produced using advanced Solid-State Polycondensation (SSP) technology, achieving an end carboxyl group content controlled below 15 eq/t, and even reaching levels as low as 8 eq/t. This reduced carboxyl content endows the polyester chips with exceptional thermal stability, improved spinnability, and enhanced hydrolysis resistance, significantly boosting the material’s weather resistance and antiaging properties.
Product Features
1. Enhanced Thermal Stability: Reduces degradation, thereby increasing fiber strength.
2. Improved Spinnability: Decreases molecular chain breakage, leading to more uniform spinning.
3. Reduced Hydrolysis Risk: Lower carboxyl content minimizes moisture absorption-induced hydrolytic degradation, enhancing fiber durability.
4. Improved Weather Resistance: Decreases aging risk, extending the material’s lifespan.
Applications
1. High-Performance Industrial Fibers:
Tire Cord Fabric,Airbag Yarn and High Modulus Low Shrinkage (HMLS) Fiber.
2. Engineering Plastics:
PET Engineering Resin: Applied in electronic components, automotive parts (such as bumpers and grilles), and other precision plastic parts.
PET/PBT Copolymers: Used in electronic housings and high-temperature automotive components to enhance aging resistance and dimensional stability.
3. High-End Optical and Electronic Films:
Optical Grade PET Film and High-Performance Capacitor Film.
4. High-End Textiles and Medical Materials:
Hydrolysis-Resistant PET Fiber and Weather-Resistant Fiber
