Barium sulfate polyester chips are a masterbatch product created by incorporating barium sulfate powder into a polyester masterbatch. Barium sulfate (BaSO4), an inorganic compound, exhibits stable chemical properties, insolubility in water and acids, and is non-toxic and non-magnetic. Its outstanding mechanical properties, chemical resistance, and versatility find extensive application in PET film production, as well as in the blending stage of spinning processes.

1. Textile Applications:

1. Modified Film Applications:

• Extrusion: Barium sulfate polyester slices are typically blended with other raw materials and heated to melt, forming the initial form of the film.
• Stretching: During stretching, the extruded film undergoes longitudinal and transverse stretching, where barium sulfate polyester slices may be mixed with other additives to enhance mechanical and physical properties.
• Post-processing: Includes cooling, calendering, cutting, and other processes to adjust and optimize film properties.
