Aluminum-coated PET film is a barrier film formed by the vacuum aluminum-coating process. A thin layer of aluminum atoms is deposited onto high-quality PET film.

3. Technical Specifications

Aluminum thickness typically ranges from 0.02 to 0.06 micrometers, measurable with a light density meter.

The aluminum layer is uniform. The thickness deviation measured at 120m in the longitudinal direction is less than 10%. The thickness deviation measured at 18 horizontal points is less than 5%.

Adhesion of the aluminum layer is tested using adhesive tape. So it does not peel off when the tape is removed.

UV transmittance is below 5%.
