Alkaline Soluble Polyester Chips are a type of modified polyester, produced by incorporating hydrophilic groups into conventional polyesters. It can be used to produce ultra-fine sea-island POY and FDY, along with sea-island staple fibers.
Alkaline Soluble Polyester Chips are a type of modified polyester, produced by incorporating hydrophilic groups into conventional polyesters. These products can hydrolyze in heated alkaline (or water) solutions. They primarily serve as the marine component in the production of sea-island yarns, where the sea portion is dissolved through alkali reduction, leaving behind the island structure. The segregation of sea-island components relies on the degree of polymer dissolution in alkaline solutions. When conjugated with high-shrinkage yarns, a superior suede effect is achieved, producing nanofibers with extensive surface area, high absorption, and efficient distribution and filtration capabilities.
